Tyrap 4971NM Liquid Tight Connector

The Tyrap 4971NM is a liquid tight cord connector built for industrial and electrical wiring installations. It features a 90 degree body style and a 3/4 inch MNPT box connection. The nylon body is black and insulated for secure cable management. This connector accepts a single cord within a diameter range of .31 in to .56 in.

Suited for tight routing in conduit systems

This connector suits electricians and installers routing cables through liquid tight conduit where a right angle turn is required at the box entry. It is not for applications needing external strain relief or multiple cord entries. Buyers who need a straight body style or a different thread size should look at alternative connector models.

Verify cord diameter and thread compatibility

Before ordering, confirm the cable outer diameter falls between .31 in and .56 in for a proper seal. Ensure the enclosure provides a 3/4 inch female NPT thread for the male connector end. Check that the 1 1/2 in length from box to connector end fits the available space. The unit meets CSA 52391 and UL E13938 standards.
