Wiring duct cover for 1-3/4 inch duct

The Tyrap TYD15CPG6 is a flushed-mount cover designed for 1-3/4 inch wiring duct. It protects enclosed conductors in control panels and machine wiring installations. The six-foot length suits standard enclosure runs. Gray colour matches common industrial duct systems.

Flame-retardant PVC with DIN and UL listings

Moulded from flame-retardant PVC, the cover meets DIN 43 659, NFPA-79-2002 and UL508/UL508A requirements. The flushed profile sits level with the duct sidewall for a smooth interior surface. This reduces snag risk when pulling or reorganising cables during maintenance.

Six-foot length for continuous coverage

Each piece spans six feet, covering a full duct run without joints. Buyers needing shorter sections or a different duct width must cut this cover or source an alternative size. The cover is not supplied with mounting hardware or retaining clips.

Questions about this item

Does the DIN 43 659 standard cover the flushed mounting style on this cover?

DIN 43 659 applies to the wiring duct system; the cover matches the 1-3/4 in duct width and sits flush when snapped in place.

What duct width must the enclosure have for this 1-3/4 in cover to sit flush?

The cover is made for 1-3/4 in wiring duct; the enclosure opening must match that width exactly.

Which step is most often missed when snapping this flame-retardant PVC cover onto the duct?

Align the cover ribs with the duct slots along the full 6 ft length before pressing; a partial start leaves gaps.
