Standalone HDD/SSD Duplicator

The U-Reach 1 to 15 MTC series is a standalone duplicator and sanitizer built for high-volume production environments. It copies up to 15 GB per minute across all targets simultaneously without speed degradation. The unit supports 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives as well as IDE drives via a converter.

Source and Target Drive Preparation

Verify that your source and target drives use SATA or IDE interfaces compatible with the open-platform design. Ensure the file systems you need to duplicate — Windows FAT16, FAT32, FAT64, NTFS, Linux ext2, ext3, ext4, LVM, or Mac HFS, HFS+, HFSX — are supported by the quick copy mode. Daisy-Chain expansion uses Mini-SAS SFF-8088 connectors for linking additional units.

Sustained High-Volume Operation

The duplicator maintains the full 15 GB per minute rate across every port during extended production runs thanks to patented Daisy-Chain technology (US 9,349,408 B2). Real-time PC monitoring and log report management record every task detail for production oversight. Sanitization modes including quick erase, full erase, secure erase, and DoD erase run to completion without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

What drives are included and what must I add?

The duplicator ships as a standalone chassis; you supply the 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs you want to copy or sanitise.

Which copy mode suits my 15 GB/min target?

Quick-copy mode duplicates only the used file-system space on Windows FAT16/32/64, Linux ext2/3/4/LVM or Mac HFS/HFS+/HFSX volumes, delivering up to 15 GB/min per drive.

What does the 15 GB/min figure mean in practice?

Each connected SATA drive can sustain that rate simultaneously; total throughput grows with every target added via the Mini-SAS daisy-chain port.
