UAG Scout case for LG K8S, K8 and Tribute Empire

This feather-light case fits the LG K8S, K8 and Tribute Empire models with a soft impact-resistant core and a non-slip ruggedized grip. A raised screen surround protects the display while keeping the touchscreen and all ports fully accessible. The design also accommodates the built-in fingerprint reader without interference.

Military drop-test standard MIL STD 810G 516.6

The case meets MIL STD 810G 516.6 military drop-test standards, indicating it can survive repeated impacts under controlled conditions. This rating reflects sustained protection rather than a single-burst survival, so the phone remains shielded through everyday knocks and accidental drops.

Snap-on installation with precise cut-outs

The case snaps onto the handset without tools and the cut-outs align with buttons, ports and the fingerprint sensor. Problems usually arise if debris is trapped between the phone and the soft core during fitting, which can reduce grip or press on the screen. Clean both surfaces before installation to avoid this issue.

Questions about this item

Does the UAG Empire Scout case get hot or noisy during long daily use?

The case is passive with no fans or electronics, so it produces no noise and adds no measurable heat to the phone.

What must I already own for this case to fit and work?

You need an LG K8S, LG K8 or LG Tribute Empire handset; the cut-outs align with their fingerprint reader, ports and screen.

Will the raised screen surround interfere with an older tempered-glass protector I keep on the phone?

The raised bezel sits slightly above the display, so most flat protectors fit underneath without lifting or bubbling.
