The Ubiquiti Networks LAP-120(US) is a 5 GHz wireless bridge built for point-to-multipoint links. It delivers up to 450 Mbit/s throughput using 2x2 MIMO and IEEE 802.11ac. The integrated radio and sector antenna cover a 120° azimuth, serving multiple airMAX ac CPEs from a single pole-mounted unit. GPS synchronisation enables carrier-class scaling with 90% higher throughput than unsynchronised alternatives.

Thermals noise and power draw

The access point draws 24 V at .5 A through its integrated Gigabit PoE port, keeping cabling simple and power consumption low. Passive cooling handles the radio and Ethernet interface without fans, so the unit runs silently in outdoor environments. The single PoE adapter supplies both data and power over one cable, reducing the number of connections exposed to weather.

Mounting kit PoE adapter and airOS 8

The box includes a three-axis ball-joint pole mount that assembles in seconds and needs only one wrench for final tightening. A 24 V .5 A Gigabit PoE injector is bundled, so no separate power supply is required. airOS 8 adds the airMAX ac protocol, real-time RF analytics and a redesigned interface for easier configuration and monitoring of the sector AP.
