The Ubiquiti Networks Loco5ACUS combines a 5 GHz radio and directional antenna in a single NanoStation housing. It delivers up to 450 Mbps throughput over distances beyond 10 km. The unit runs airOS 8 and is managed through the UISP platform. Replaces older 5 GHz CPE with lower throughput

The airMAX AC chipset raises capacity above earlier M-series units while keeping the same mounting footprint. A dedicated spectral-analysis radio helps choose clean channels before the link is commissioned. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing gear cannot sustain 450 Mbps or when spectral congestion demands real-time scanning. Buyers who need more than one radio chain or integrated PoE injection should look elsewhere.

Sustained output with selectable channel widths

In point-to-point mode the radio supports 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 MHz channels; point-to-multipoint operation uses 10 to 40 MHz. Automatic distance selection adjusts ACK timing for link stability over long paths. Transmit power control keeps output within regulatory limits during continuous operation. The gigabit Ethernet port prevents the wired side from becoming the bottleneck.
