5G Modem for UniFi Networks

The Ubiquiti U5G-Max is a 5G NR and LTE modem built for UniFi deployments. It delivers up to 3.4 Gbps downlink in NSA mode and connects through a single 2.5 GbE RJ45 port. The device requires a UniFi Network console running version 10.0.162 or later and an alternative WAN connection for initial adoption.

PoE Powered with Dual SIM Flexibility

Installation is simplified because the modem draws power entirely from a UniFi PoE port and includes desktop stand, wall mount and window mount hardware. A Nano SIM slot and a second slot accepting either Nano SIM or eSIM provide carrier redundancy. The 1.3 inch touchscreen and factory reset button allow local status checks without a console.

Sustained Throughput and Carrier Certification

Under continuous load the modem maintains 5G SA speeds of 1.8 Gbps downlink and 650 Mbps uplink, while 4G LTE reaches 1.6 Gbps downlink. Maximum power consumption is 14.5 W. The unit is certified for AT&T and T-Mobile data-only plans; Verizon support is not yet available and T-Mobile Home Internet SIMs are not supported.
