Ubiquiti Networks Wave-Pro 60 GHz PtMP PtP Station

60 GHz Point-to-Multipoint Station

The Ubiquiti Wave-Pro operates as a combined point-to-multipoint and point-to-point station on the 60 GHz band. It is designed for network operators and integrators building high-capacity wireless links in dense environments. The dual-mode architecture lets a single unit serve sector coverage and dedicated backhaul simultaneously.

Capacity and headroom at 60 GHz

The 60 GHz spectrum delivers multi-gigabit throughput with low latency for short-range sectors and long-range backhaul. Performance scales with clear line of sight and drops sharply when obstacles or heavy rain attenuate the signal. The station reaches its practical limit when the path budget cannot overcome atmospheric loss or when client density exceeds the sector's time-slot allocation.
