Deluxe Edition content

The Deluxe Edition adds a Prince of Persia inspired outfit, eagle and mount skins, weapons, a digital artbook and a digital soundtrack. These extras expand the cosmetic and collectible side of the package for players who value additional in-game items and media. The core game remains the same Assassin's Creed Mirage experience.

Classic gameplay return

This release marks a return to the franchise's classic gameplay after 15 years of evolution. It replaces the expansive RPG structure of recent entries with focused parkour, stealth and visceral assassinations. The jump is worth it for players who prefer tighter mission design and a smaller, denser map over open-world bloat.

Disc-based installation

The Xbox Series X version installs from the physical disc included in the box. Installation proceeds automatically once the disc is inserted and the console is online for any required updates. The main issue buyers encounter is forgetting to connect to the internet before launch, which stalls the day-one patch and delays play.
