Digital code for Xbox consoles

This digital code delivers the standard edition of Far Cry 6 to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The open-world shooter places players in the role of Dani Rojas, a local guerrilla fighter battling dictator Antón Castillo across the fictional Caribbean island of Yara. The game carries an ESRB Mature rating and requires an internet connection to redeem and download.

Standard edition content only

The purchase provides the base game without any season pass, downloadable content or ultimate edition extras. Players receive the full campaign spanning jungles, beaches and the capital city of Esperanza, plus access to resolver weapons, backpacks and vehicles. Additional story DLCs and the season pass remain separate purchases if desired later.

Verify console compatibility and account region

Before ordering, confirm you own an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One and that your Microsoft account region matches the code's redemption region. Sufficient storage space on the console's internal drive or an approved expansion card is required for the download. An active Xbox profile and broadband internet are needed to activate and play.

Questions about this item

Will I need to buy a Season Pass later to access the three DLCs mentioned for Far Cry 6?

The Standard Edition includes only the base game. The Season Pass with three DLCs is sold separately in the Gold or Ultimate Editions, so additional purchase is required for that content.

What limits how long I can play Far Cry 6 in a single session on Xbox?

Play time is limited by the console's thermal management and power supply, not by the digital licence itself, which imposes no session restriction.

How much heat or fan noise does the digital download generate while running all day?

The downloadable code produces no heat or noise; only the Xbox console's own cooling system responds to the game's processing load during extended play.
