Just Dance 2017 Wii game

Just Dance 2017 is a music rhythm game published by Ubisoft for the Nintendo Wii. It offers over 40 popular tracks from artists such as Justin Bieber, Sia and Major Lazer. The title is aimed at families and casual players who want an active party experience in the living room. No additional camera hardware is required when a smartphone is used.

Smartphone controller setup

The game works with the Just Dance Controller App on a compatible smartphone, replacing the need for a Wii camera or extra accessories. Players simply launch the app, connect to the same Wi-Fi network as the console and hold the phone while dancing. A common issue is unstable connectivity if the phone and console are on different network bands or too far from the router.

Casual party players

This release suits households looking for a light-hearted, multiplayer dance game on an original Wii console. It is not for players who want a deep single-player campaign, competitive ranking systems or extensive downloadable content libraries. Buyers without a smartphone or a working Wii Remote will not be able to use the primary control method.
