What this adapter does

The UGREEN 35264B AX900 USB WiFi 6 Adapter adds dual-band wireless connectivity to a desktop PC. It supports WiFi 6 speeds up to 600 Mbps on 5 GHz and 287 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The USB 3.0 interface provides the link to the host computer. It also allows a networked PC to share its connection with other devices.

Check your system before ordering

This adapter only works with Windows 10 or 11 on x86 or x64 CPUs. It does not support macOS, Linux, or any earlier Windows version. Built-in drivers install automatically without a CD or download. A WiFi 6 router is required to reach the stated AX900 rates. Keep the adapter within 30 ft of the router for best results.

Who this suits and who it does not

Ideal for Windows 10 and 11 desktop owners who want a simple, driver-free WiFi 6 upgrade and the option to create a hotspot. Not suitable for buyers using macOS, Linux, Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. Users needing Bluetooth 5.4, external antennas, tri-band WiFi 7, or PCIe installation should look at a different product.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the UGREEN 35264B and what must I buy separately?

The adapter itself is included. A WiFi 6 router is required to reach the rated speeds, and a Windows 10 or 11 PC with a USB 3.0 port is needed for the built-in driver to work. No separate driver download or antenna is required.

Should I choose the AX900 version or the AX1800 or BE6500 models listed?

Pick the AX900 if your router is WiFi 6 and you need up to 600 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 287 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The AX1800 model offers 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz, while the BE6500 is a WiFi 7 PCIe card requiring Windows 11 and internal installation.

What does the AX900 label mean once the adapter is plugged into my desktop?

It indicates a combined theoretical ceiling of 900 Mbps: 600 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 287 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Actual throughput depends on your router, distance (within 30 ft recommended), and interference. The adapter uses a USB 3.0 interface and supports WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and mixed encryption.
