What it is and who it fits

A thin silicone cover coloured purple blue that protects HP 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch laptop keyboards from dust and spills. It matches the key layout on listed Pavilion and standard 15-fc, 15-fd, 15-er, 15-eg, 15-eh and 16-ab models as well as 17-cn and 17-cp series. Buyers with Envy x360, Envy 15 or Envy 17 models listed as incompatible should not use this skin.

Thermals noise and power

The film adds no active cooling and draws no power so system temperatures and fan noise stay unchanged. Its 0.018 kilogram mass and ultra thin profile do not restrict key travel or trap measurable heat during normal typing.

What the accessory changes

The washable silicone layer shields the keyboard from crumbs and liquid while remaining removable for cleaning. New users may need a few days to adjust to the slightly different tactile feel before typing speed returns to normal.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the UHamn silicone skin onto my HP 15.6" keyboard without trapping bubbles?

Lay the cover flat, align the function-row cut-outs first, then press from the centre outward; the ultra-thin 0.018 kg film settles in minutes.

Can I wash the Purple Blue cover when it gets dirty, and will it stretch?

Yes — rinse with lukewarm water, air-dry completely, and the durable silicone returns to its original 13.589 cm x 33.7058 cm shape.

At what point does the cover start to interfere with key travel during long typing sessions?

The 1.4986 cm profile adds negligible height; most users adapt in a few days and notice no loss of feedback.
