Portable wireless Bluetooth speaker

The Ultimate Ears BOOM 4 in Cobalt Blue is a wireless Bluetooth speaker built for adventure. It delivers balanced 360-degree sound with deep bass from two 1.6-inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators. One-touch music controls let you manage playback without reaching for your phone. It suits anyone wanting a rugged, grab-and-go audio companion.

Simple pairing and one-touch control

Pair the speaker with a Bluetooth source and press the top button to play, pause or skip tracks. The USB-C port handles charging. The IP67 rating means the speaker survives dust and water immersion, so wet or dirty hands rarely cause issues. Problems usually arise only if the USB-C cover is left open during submersion or if the paired device moves beyond the 147 feet wireless range.

Bluetooth range and output limits

The wireless link works up to 147 feet in clear conditions, but walls and interference reduce that distance. Maximum sound pressure level reaches 85 dBC, which suits personal or small-group listening rather than large gatherings. The fixed EQ modes and custom EQ adjust the tonal balance, yet the driver size and enclosure volume set a hard ceiling on low-frequency extension and overall volume.
