Portable 360-degree speaker

The Wonderboom 4 is a compact Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use. Its IP67 rating means it survives submersion in 1 metre of water for 30 minutes and resists dust. The speaker floats and includes a loop for easy carrying. It suits listeners who want rugged, portable audio without a wired connection.

Battery life and sound modes

A rechargeable battery delivers up to 14 hours of playtime on a single charge. The Outdoor Boost button adjusts the EQ for open-air environments, while Podcast Mode enhances vocal clarity for spoken-word content. Both modes are designed to maintain balanced output during extended listening sessions rather than short bursts.

Bluetooth range and pairing limits

Wireless range extends to 131 feet (40 metres) in open conditions, though walls and interference will reduce the practical distance. Two Wonderboom 4 units can be paired for stereo separation, but the speaker does not support the PartyUP protocol used by other models. Android 6.0 and above devices can connect via Google Fast Pair for one-tap setup.

Questions about this item

Does the speaker get hot or drain quickly when playing at high volume for a full day?

The built-in battery delivers up to 14 hours of playtime on a single charge; the compact 4.0 x 4.0 x 8.0 in enclosure has no fan, so it runs silently and stays cool during extended use.

What cable or charger do I need to power the Wonderboom 4?

It charges via a USB-C cable, which is not included in the box; any standard USB-C power source will work.

Can I pair this Wonderboom 4 with an older Wonderboom model for stereo sound?

The Double Up feature works only between two Wonderboom 4 units; it is not compatible with PartyUP or earlier Wonderboom speakers.
