What it is

The Ultimaxx 62mm Snap-On Pinch Lens Cap is a protective cover for 62mm camera lenses. It shields the front element from dust, water splashes, sun rays and scratches during storage or transport. The cap suits photographers using Nikon, Canon, Sony or other DSLR systems with a matching filter thread.

How it fits the kit

The pinch mechanism snaps onto the lens filter thread and releases easily even when a lens hood is mounted. Strong springs maintain a tighter fit for longer service life. It serves as a universal replacement cover, freeing you from hunting for brand-specific caps while keeping the front glass clean.

Under sustained use

The spring tension holds the cap securely during repeated handling and extended periods in a camera bag. It continues to block dust and moisture over long storage intervals without loosening. The simple mechanical design has no electronics to degrade, so protection remains consistent through daily shooting cycles.
