Ultimaxx Rechargeable Battery for GoPro HERO 5 6 7 8 Black

Compatible GoPro Models

This lithium-ion rechargeable battery fits GoPro HERO5 Black, HERO6 Black, HERO7 Black and HERO8 Black cameras. It serves as a direct spare or replacement for the original power cell. Photographers and videographers carrying multiple batteries can extend shooting sessions without relying on external power banks. The cell is designed to match the form factor and electrical requirements of the listed models.

Replacing Depleted Original Cells

Swap this battery in when the factory-supplied unit no longer holds a useful charge or when a second cell is needed for uninterrupted recording. The upgrade is worth it whenever the original battery shows reduced runtime or fails to power the camera reliably. It restores the camera to its intended portable operation without requiring a firmware update or adapter. Users who only shoot short clips near a charger may not need an extra cell.

Sustained Recording Behaviour

The lithium-ion chemistry delivers consistent voltage output throughout the discharge cycle, supporting continuous video capture until the camera signals low power. Heat buildup during long takes remains within the design limits of the HERO5 through HERO8 bodies. No performance throttling occurs as the cell depletes, so frame rates and resolution settings stay stable. The battery recharges in the camera or with standard GoPro chargers.
