Universal Auto Flash Kit

The Ultimaxx Universal Auto Flash bundle includes a flash unit with LCD display, four 3150 mAh Ni-MH rechargeable batteries with charger, a gadget bag, diffuser, and cleaning accessories. It is designed for photographers who need a portable lighting kit with multiple flash modes and slave triggering capability.

Suited for manual and multi-flash control

This kit suits users who want precise power adjustment across 22 steps from 1/128 to 1/1 and flash durations from 1/200 to 1/20000 seconds. Photographers requiring TTL metering, high-speed sync, or wireless radio control should look at other systems because those features are not included.

Simple shoe-mount setup

The flash mounts on a standard hot shoe and runs on the supplied AA Ni-MH cells or alkaline batteries, delivering 100 to 1500 flashes per charge with a 2.9 second recycle time. Overheating protection and a fixed zoom head reduce the risk of damage during extended sessions, while the diffuser and cleaning tools help maintain consistent output.

Questions about this item

What batteries do I need to power the Ultimaxx Auto Flash?

The flash runs on four AA alkaline or AA Ni-MH cells; the bundle includes four 3150 mAh Ni-MH rechargeables and a charger so you can start shooting immediately.

Will the flash trigger from my camera’s built-in pop-up flash?

Yes — the unit’s S1 and S2 slave modes fire in sync with any master flash, including a camera’s pop-up, letting you add off-camera light without extra triggers.

How can I verify the flash is recycling at the rated speed after setup?

Fire a full-power burst and time the interval between pops; the spec is 2.9 seconds, so a stopwatch showing roughly three seconds confirms normal operation.
