Brass Jimmy Proof Deadlock for Glass-Panel Doors

This surface-mounted deadlock uses a twin interlocking drop bolt that locks the door directly to the jamb, resisting forced entry. Its single cylinder design suits doors with glass panes where a double cylinder could trap occupants. The die cast housing with brass finish provides durable corrosion resistance. It is supplied boxed with an angle strike keeper included.

Simple Surface Installation With One Bore Hole

Mounting requires drilling a single 1-1/4" hole through the door face, so no mortising or deep routing is needed. The tamper resistant shutter guard fits over the cylinder to deter manipulation. Alignment of the angle strike keeper on the jamb is the common snag; mark the bolt throw carefully before screwing it down. All fixings are standard wood screws driven into the door and frame.

Check Door Thickness and Existing Keyway Before

This lock fits doors between 1-3/8" and 2-1/2" thick; measure your slab to confirm it falls in that range. The cylinder uses an SE1 keyway with a 5 pin tumbler brass rim cylinder, so it will not match existing locks on a different keyway.
