Questions about this item
Does my laptop need a USB-C port that supports video and 60 W Power Delivery to use this dock?
Yes — the dock connects through a single USB-C cable that must carry both video and up to 60 W of power, so your laptop’s USB-C port has to support those functions.
Will the dock drive two monitors if I keep my older DisplayPort screens?
It can run two full-HD displays at the same time, or one UHD display at 30 Hz, using the two DisplayPort outputs on the dock.
How can I confirm the dock is delivering power and video after I plug it in?
Your laptop should show it is charging, and both external monitors should appear in display settings at the expected resolutions.
