Primary lithium cell for long-life devices

The Ultralife ER18505 is a 3.6V primary lithium cell rated at 4.0Ah nominal capacity. It is designed for equipment that demands stable voltage and high energy density over an extended service life. Typical uses include utility metering, remote sensors, security systems and industrial data loggers where battery replacement is difficult or costly.

Hermetic glass-to-metal seal prevents leakage

The cell uses a hermetic glass-to-metal seal and a non-flammable electrolyte to eliminate leakage risk and improve safety under abuse conditions. Self-discharge is less than 1% per year at 20°C, supporting a shelf and operational life exceeding 10 years depending on the application. The cylindrical form factor fits standard holders for this size class.

Replaces older primary cells in high-drain roles

This cell replaces earlier primary lithium types such as LS17500, XL-100F and ER17/50 where higher drain capability and longer calendar life are required. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing packs show premature voltage drop or leakage, or when maintenance intervals need extending beyond what older chemistries can reliably deliver.
