What the Prisma 4x6 frame is

The Umbra Prisma 4x6 in black is a geometric wire picture frame designed by Sung Wook Park. It floats a photo between two panes of glass to create a dimensional display. The steel construction gives it a contemporary look that suits modern interiors. It works as a standalone accent or grouped with other sizes.

What to check before ordering

Verify that you have a 4x6 inch photo ready to insert, as the frame is sized for that format. Decide whether you will hang it on a wall or stand it on a flat surface, since both orientations are possible. Ensure the mounting location can support the weight of the glass and steel assembly. No tools are mentioned in the specifications.

Build quality and daily use

The frame uses steel wire with a black finish and two glass panes that sandwich the image. Its patented floating design lets the geometric structure remain visible around the photo. You can switch between vertical and horizontal layouts without extra hardware. The materials are durable enough for regular handling and repositioning.

Questions about this item

Does the Prisma 4x6 frame include the glass panes and mounting hardware, or must I buy them separately?

The frame ships complete with two glass panes and the hardware needed for wall mounting or tabletop display; no extra parts are required.

Which finish and size should I choose if I want the black steel version that holds a 4 by 6 inch photo?

This listing is the black steel model sized for a 4 by 6 inch print; other sizes and finishes are sold as separate items.

How does the floating effect work once the photo is inside the frame?

The photo rests between two glass panes held by the geometric steel wire, so the image appears suspended while the frame remains visible around it.
