Rugged Case for Zebra TC5X Series

This blue rugged case fits Zebra TC51, TC52, TC56, TC57, TC52x and TC57x mobile computers. It is built for warehouse, logistics and field-service teams that need to spot devices quickly in busy environments. The dual-layer TPU and polycarbonate shell adds military-grade protection without blocking ports or scanners.

Drop Protection and Environmental Limits

The case is rated for 8ft drops, equivalent to 2.4 metres, and meets IP65 for dust and chemical splash resistance. Protection stops at those thresholds; harder impacts, deeper immersion or prolonged chemical exposure are not covered. Users who need higher drop ratings or full waterproofing should look elsewhere.

Upgrade from Basic Shells and Skins

This case replaces thin silicone skins or bare-device use when drop survival and fast visual identification matter. The jump is worth it for fleets that suffer frequent screen damage or lost-time searches for misplaced units. It does not add a mounting system, so workers who need vehicle or wall docks will need a separate solution.

Questions about this item

Is the SG-TC5X-EXO1-01 the only version available for the TC51, TC52, TC56 and TC57 series?

The SG-TC5X-EXO1-01 is the basic rugged case. An enhanced grip setup with strap exists under part number SG-TC5X-EXONHS-01.

What does the 8ft drop rating mean when the case is on a Zebra TC52 in daily warehouse use?

The dual-layer TPU and polycarbonate construction is tested to survive drops from 8ft (2.4m) onto hard surfaces while protecting the device.

Does the IP65 rating on this case limit dust or water ingress when ports are exposed during scanning?

The IP65 rating certifies dust-tight protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets; port covers maintain the seal when accessories are not connected.
