10.1" IPS Touch Monitor for Raspberry Pi

The Unew CX101PI-C is a 10.1 inch IPS panel with 1920 by 1200 resolution and 10-point capacitive touch. It targets Raspberry Pi 2B, 3B, 4 and 5 users as well as Banana Pi and Orange Pi builders who need a compact display for programming, 3D printer control or portable gaming. Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, Android and Kodi systems are supported.

Driver-Free Touch and Mounting Flexibility

The touchscreen works over USB without extra drivers on the listed operating systems. Two replaceable side panels fit different Pi models, while a hidden adjustable bracket and 75 by 75 mm VESA holes allow desk, wall or arm mounting. Dual built-in fans handle heat during long sessions, though the 12 V DC adapter is required because USB-C alone cannot supply enough power for the display and fans together.

Interface Limits and Power Requirements

Video reaches the panel through HDMI or Type-C, while touch data travels over a separate USB link. The 12 V DC jack must be used for reliable operation; the monitor does not run from a single USB-C cable. Brightness is 300 cd per square metre with a 1000 to 1 contrast ratio, so outdoor visibility is limited. Audio output is restricted to the 3.5 mm jack.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 10-point capacitive touchscreen is responding correctly after connecting the USB touch cable?

Open a drawing or calibration tool on the host device and verify that all ten simultaneous touch points register accurately across the 10.1" IPS panel with the stated 3 ms response.

Which cables, adapters and mounting parts are included in the package versus what must be sourced separately?

The box contains the monitor, DC power adapter, two replaceable side panels for Pi 3 and Pi 4/5, screwdriver with eight mounting screws, four interface boards (Micro USB, Type-C, HDMI-D, HDMI-A), touch cable, HDMI-to-HDMI cable, USB-A-to-USB-C cable and user manual; no extra items are required for basic operation.

Which version should I choose if I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 versus a Pi 3?

Use the side panel labelled for Pi 4/5 with the Type-C interface board and USB-C power path for a Pi 4 or 5; switch to the Pi 3 side panel and the Micro USB interface board for a Pi 2B or 3B.
