Pack of 10 ABS battery holders

This pack contains ten black ABS holders each designed to accept one 23A 12V battery. The moulded clips secure the cell while integrated 3mm mounting holes allow screw fixing to a chassis or panel. Battery and mounting screws are not supplied.

Spring-clip contact limits

The spring-clip contacts suit low-current 12V circuits typical of remote controls or small sensors. The 14 cm lead length restricts placement distance from the load. ABS softens above moderate temperatures so the holder is unsuited to high-heat environments.

Simple two-screw mounting

Align the 3 mm holes, insert suitable screws and tighten; no special tools are required. The main installation issue is using screws that are too long and short the internal contacts. Verify polarity before soldering to the 14 cm leads.

Questions about this item

How many holders are in the pack and what battery size do they fit?

The pack contains 10 black ABS holders, each sized for a single 23A/12V N-model cell.

What does the 14 cm wire length mean when I wire the holder into a project?

Each holder ships with a 14 cm (5.5 in) lead, giving roughly a hand-span of cable to reach your solder points or connector.

How do the 3 mm mounting holes limit the screws I can use?

The 3 mm (0.12 in) holes accept M3 or #4 hardware; larger screws will not fit through the molded openings.
