Carbon Brushes for Electric Drills

These 10 x 5 x 5 mm carbon motor brushes replace worn components in compatible power tools. The pack contains four pairs weighing 19 g total. They suit owners of electric drills and similar rotary tools needing routine motor maintenance.

Fit for Standard 10 mm Slots

This size fits tools that accept 10 x 5 x 5 mm brushes. It will not work where the holder requires different dimensions or where the motor uses a proprietary brush design. Buyers who need a different cross-section should look at something else.

10 x 5 x 5 mm Cross-Section

The critical specification is the 10 x 5 x 5 mm brush size. Measure the old brushes or check the tool manual before ordering; only this exact profile guarantees proper contact and motor function.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 x 5 x 5 mm carbon brushes fit my drill's motor housing?

Each brush measures 10 mm long, 5 mm wide and 5 mm thick; compare those dimensions with the original brushes in your tool before ordering.

How do I install the four pairs of brushes without damaging the springs?

Remove the old brushes, note the spring orientation, then slide each new carbon block into its holder so the curved face matches the commutator and the spring presses squarely on the top.

When should I replace these carbon brushes again?

Inspect the 19 g set after heavy use; replace once the carbon wears down to the metal shunt or the motor runs intermittently or loses electric braking.
