Carbon Brush Holder Caps

These carbon brush holder caps suit 12 mm outside diameter brushes with a 7.5 mm inside diameter. They are made of black plastic and come as a pair weighing two grams total. The caps protect the brush and holder in compatible power tools.

Compatibility and Limits

The parts fit rotary hammers, grinders, saws, cutters and trimmers that accept the stated dimensions. They will not work on tools whose brush holders need a different outside diameter, inside diameter or thickness. Buyers who need other sizes should look elsewhere.

Critical Dimension

The 12 mm outside diameter is the single specification that determines whether the cap fits the brush holder. If the holder requires a different outside diameter, the part cannot be used.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12mm OD caps or a different size for my motor?

Choose the 12mm OD, 7.5mm ID, 4.5mm thick caps if your brush holder matches those exact dimensions; the pack contains two identical pieces.

Will these 12mm caps fit securely once installed in a rotary hammer?

They are moulded to 12mm outside diameter, 7.5mm inside diameter and 4.5mm thickness, so they seat firmly in compatible brush holders on rotary hammers, grinders or saws.

What does the 12mm outside diameter limit in practice?

The 12mm OD determines which brush holder bores the caps can enter; they only fit holders machined for that specific outside diameter.
