13 mm Stainless Steel Mortise Lock
This cylinder mortise lock is built from nickel-plated stainless steel for corrosion resistance. It suits fire-rated doors, framed doors and concealed installations where a compact tubular mechanism is required. The 13 mm diameter core fits standard mortise pockets in timber or metal doors. Supplied with a key, two face plates and mounting screws.
13 mm Cylinder Core and 16 mm Body Limits
The 13 mm cylinder core diameter and 19 mm core length restrict the lock to thin-profile doors and shallow mortise depths. The 16 mm outer body diameter requires a precise bore; oversized holes will leave play that prevents the bolt from engaging. Mounting-hole centres of 27 mm and 32 mm fix the plate spacing, so doors pre-drilled to other centres cannot use this lock without modification.
Simple Mortise Installation With Fixed Centres
Installation consists of boring a 16 mm hole, mortising the 63.5 mm long body and fastening the plates to the 27 mm and 32 mm centres. Misaligned bores or incorrect centre-to-centre measurements are the usual causes of bolt binding. The single key operates the cylinder; no additional cylinders or master-key options are included.

Questions about this item
Which cylinder diameter fits my door prep — the 13 mm core or a larger size?
This lock has a 13 mm cylinder core diameter and a 16 mm outer body; choose it when your door is drilled for those dimensions.
What does the 13 mm cylinder core mean once the lock is installed in a real door?
The 13 mm core houses the keyway and tumblers, giving a compact profile that suits fire-rated, framed or invisible doors without weakening the stile.
Is the mounting hole spacing a standard mortise pattern, and what does it limit?
Two hole centres are provided at 27 mm and 32 mm, so the lock fits doors prepared to either spacing but cannot be used on wider patterns.
