20-Piece Black Rubber Grommet Set

This set supplies twenty closed blind grommets for protecting wires passing through drilled panels. The rubber material cushions cables against sharp sheet-metal edges. Each piece fits a 14mm mounting hole. They suit automotive wiring repairs or new cable routing tasks.

Dimensions and Thermal Behaviour

Each grommet measures 11mm inner diameter by 20mm outer diameter by 4mm thickness. The rubber construction insulates electrically and dampens vibration in normal use. No active cooling or power draw is involved. The material remains stable across typical vehicle temperature ranges.

Installation and Build Integration

The single-side design presses into panel holes without tools. The 20-piece quantity covers multiple pass-through points in one job. They free up workspace by eliminating the need to fabricate custom cable protectors. Builders needing open grommets or larger diameters must source different parts.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 14mm rubber grommet in an 11mm hole, and what step is often missed?

Press the grommet firmly into the 11mm inner-diameter hole until the 20mm outer flange seats flush; the step often missed is verifying the 4mm thickness sits evenly so the 14mm model designation matches the panel cut-out.

What maintenance or replacement will these 20pcs black rubber grommets need over time?

Inspect each grommet periodically for cracking or hardening; replace any piece that shows splits or loss of elasticity to keep wires protected from sharp sheet-metal edges.

What limit appears first when these grommets are used continuously in a high-vibration panel?

The 4mm wall thickness and single-side design will fatigue first, causing the rubber to split around the 11mm inner diameter under sustained vibration.
