Carbon brush for rotary hammer drills

This carbon brush fits power tools and electric motors including rotary hammer drills, circular saws, cut-off saws and angle grinders. It is designed with a wire lead and brush springs already attached for direct installation. The brush body uses carbon, metal and brass construction.

Pre-assembled wire lead

The bundle includes a single carbon brush with the wire lead and brush springs fitted at the factory. This removes the need to transfer springs or crimp leads during a repair. The assembly arrives ready to mount in the motor housing.

35 mm total height when the spring is extended

The critical fit dimension is the overall height of 35 mm measured with the spring fully stretched. If the motor's brush holder requires a different height, the brush will not seat correctly and the tool will not run.

Questions about this item

How often will the 15/64" x 5/8" x 7/8" carbon brush need replacement under normal use?

Replacement timing depends on the specific power tool and workload; the brush wears gradually through contact with the motor commutator.

What dimension limits continuous operation before the brush overheats or wears too quickly?

The 35 mm overall height when the spring is fully extended defines the usable carbon length before contact is lost.

Does the brush assembly run hot or draw extra power during all-day use in a rotary hammer drill?

The carbon, metal and brass construction conducts current normally; heat and power draw are determined by the motor design, not the brush alone.
