Clip-on ferrite cores

These clip-on ferrite cores suppress RFI and EMI noise on cables with a 13.0-14.0 mm outer diameter. Each core measures 29 x 15 mm and installs without tools near the interference source. The pack contains ten black cores for multiple cable runs. They do not distort transmitted signals or degrade audio and video quality.

Builders fitting thick power or AV leads

Suited for installers routing mains cords, speaker wires or AV cables through noisy environments. Not suited for thinner USB, data or headphone cables below the 13.0 mm minimum diameter. Buyers needing snap-on cores for smaller cords should look at a different size.

13.0-14.0 mm cable fit range

The decisive specification is the 13.0-14.0 mm cord diameter each core accepts. Measure the cable jacket before ordering; cables outside this range will not seat properly in the 15 mm core.

Questions about this item

How do I clip the 15mm ferrite core onto a 13.0-14.0mm cable and where should I position it?

Open the hinged ring, snap it over the cable near the interference source or equipment port, then close until it clicks. Install one at each end if both sides need protection.

Will the black plastic housing or ferrite material degrade and need replacement over time?

The ferrite core is a passive component with no moving parts; it does not wear out. Only replace if the housing cracks or the clip no longer closes securely.

What cable diameter range can the 15mm core actually accommodate without slipping?

The core fits cords from 13.0mm to 14.0mm diameter. Cables outside this range may not hold the clip firmly.
