Battery holder for two CR2032 cells

This black holder accepts two CR2032 coin cells and connects them in series to provide a combined 6 V output. An integrated ON/OFF switch and a lockable cover secure the batteries during use. The unit is supplied without batteries and weighs only 7 g.

Thin wires restrict current to very small loads

The internal wiring is thin and the structure is designed only for very small current loads. Connecting a load that draws large current will cause the wires to heat up. If the wires become hot, stop using the holder immediately. Do not disassemble, maintain or modify the product.

Holds two cells delivering 6 V total

The case measures 32.5 mm by 12.5 mm and fits two CR2032 cells side by side. It comfortably powers low-current devices such as small sensors or memory-backup circuits. It runs out of headroom as soon as the load demands more than a minimal current, making it unsuitable for motors, lamps or any higher-draw application.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a holder for one CR2032 cell or this two-cell version?

This holder fits two CR2032 cells wired in series to deliver 6 V, so choose it when your circuit needs that voltage instead of 3 V.

What does the 6 V output mean once the holder is wired into my device?

Two fresh CR2032 cells in series provide about 6 V open-circuit; under load the voltage drops, and the thin wires limit use to very small currents.

Does the ON/OFF switch interrupt the circuit completely, and what current can it handle?

The built-in switch breaks the series connection, but the fine wires and lockable case are only rated for tiny loads — stop if the wires get warm.
