Replacement casters for office chairs

These 2 inch polyurethane wheels replace worn plastic casters on home or office chairs. Each wheel carries a 55lb load rating and the pack contains three pieces. They suit chairs that accept a threaded stem mount.

Quiet rolling on hard floors and carpet

Twin wheel construction and soft polyurethane tread give smooth, silent movement across hardwood or carpet without leaving marks. The wheels rotate 360 degrees for easy manoeuvring in tight spaces.

Upgrade from hard noisy plastic wheels

The set is intended for chairs that currently use hard, rough plastic casters which create noise and floor damage. Buyers needing a different stem diameter or a larger wheel diameter should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the M10×14 mm threaded-stem casters, and what step do people often miss?

Screw each stem into the chair base until the 14 mm thread length is fully seated; the step many miss is checking that the stem diameter matches the 10 mm socket before forcing it.

What maintenance or replacement will these PU-tread casters need over time?

Wipe debris from the twin wheels periodically; if the polyurethane tread wears flat or the 360-degree swivel stiffens, replace the affected caster.

What is the first limit I will hit when rolling a loaded chair continuously?

Each wheel is rated for 25 kg or 55 lb; exceeding that per-caster capacity will cause premature wear or failure before any other factor.
