Replacement casters for office chairs

These two black polyurethane wheels fit chairs that use an 11 mm by 22 mm stem mount. Each wheel supports 25 kg or 55 lb and rolls on a twin-wheel design. They are sold new as a direct swap for worn or noisy original casters. The 50 mm diameter suits many standard office seating models.

Stem mount limits compatibility

The 11 mm stem diameter and 22 mm stem length only match sockets built to that exact size. Chairs with larger, smaller or threaded stems cannot accept these casters. The wheels rotate 360 degrees but the stem dimensions are fixed and cannot be adapted. Buyers who need a different stem profile must look elsewhere.

Upgrade from hard plastic wheels

These casters replace hard plastic wheels that scratch floors and rumble across carpet. The soft polyurethane tread protects hardwood and carpet without leaving marks. The jump is worth it when existing wheels are noisy, leave scuffs or no longer roll smoothly. They do not add height adjustment or braking functions.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 11 mm stem or the 22 mm stem for my chair?

The stem is a single piece: 11 mm diameter and 22 mm long. Measure your chair's socket to match both figures before ordering.

What does the 55 lb per wheel rating mean when the chair is in daily use?

Each caster supports up to 25 kg, so the pair handles 50 kg total. Stay within that limit for smooth, quiet rolling on hardwood or carpet.

How does the 11 mm stem mount affect installation on a standard office chair?

The 11 mm x 22 mm grip-ring stem pushes straight into the chair base. No tools are needed if the socket matches those dimensions.
