20-piece 9 V battery clip kit

This kit contains twenty snap-on connectors designed for standard 9 V block batteries. Each unit has a 14 cm two-wire lead with colour-coded red and black insulation. The faux-leather shell adds grip and protects the solder joints. Hobbyists, students and repair technicians can keep a stock on hand for quick power connections.

Faux-leather shell and colour-coded leads

The covering shields the crimp area from bending stress and makes the clip easier to handle with cold or greasy fingers. Red and black wires follow the usual polarity convention, reducing wiring mistakes in breadboard or prototype work. The 14 cm length gives enough reach for typical enclosure layouts without excess slack.

14 cm wire length for breadboard reach

The lead measures 14 cm from shell to stripped end, which suits most perfboard, stripboard and small enclosure projects. Builders needing longer runs for chassis-mounted battery holders or remote sensor nodes will find the length limiting and should plan for extensions or a different connector style.

Questions about this item

Will the 14cm wires or faux leather clips need replacement after repeated 9V battery swaps?

The 14cm wires and faux leather clips are built for repeated 9V battery connections; no maintenance schedule is required beyond inspecting for physical wear.

What stops me from using these clips continuously on a high-drain 9V device?

The thin 14cm wires and snap contacts limit sustained current, so voltage drop and heat appear first under heavy continuous load.

Do the clips get hot or draw extra power when left connected all day?

The clips themselves add negligible resistance and generate no measurable heat during all-day low-current use.
