Questions about this item

What size AA battery does the 57 x 17 x 14 mm holder accept?

It fits one standard 1.5 V AA cell; the spring clip secures the battery without soldering.

Will the 8.5 cm leads reach the terminals on my existing 2.5 W, 2 A circuit board?

Yes, the 3.3 inch wires connect to low-power boards drawing under 2 A and 2.5 W; monitor battery temperature during use.

How can I confirm the holder is making good contact after wiring it?

Measure voltage at the lead ends — it should read the cell’s 1.5 V — and check that the spring clip grips the battery firmly without overheating.
