Replacement key fob for Silverado 2014-2019

This three-button remote operates at 315MHz and includes a built-in transponder chip for proximity entry. It fits Chevrolet Silverado 2014-2019, Chevrolet Colorado 2015-2021, GMC Sierra 2014-2019 and GMC Canyon 2015-2021. The unit ships with a CR2032 battery installed. It is a complete fob, not a shell.

Professional programming required

The remote must be cut and programmed by a qualified locksmith or dealership before it will start the vehicle. A working key fob is needed to add this additional key to the system. The physical key blade is uncut and the electronics need pairing to the specific truck.

FCC ID M3N32337100 confirms compatibility

Match this FCC ID and the 315MHz frequency against your original fob to verify fitment. The part number is printed on the back of the remote. If the numbers differ, this unit will not program to your vehicle.

Questions about this item

How often will the CR2032 battery need replacing on this M3N32337100 fob?

The included CR2032 coin cell typically lasts one to two years with normal use; replace it when range noticeably drops or the panic button becomes unreliable.

What stops the 315MHz signal from working if I keep the remote in a bag all day?

Thick metal or dense electronics between the fob and the Chevrolet Silverado 2014-2019 receiver can block the 315MHz signal, reducing effective range.

Does the plastic-and-metal housing get warm or make noise when the panic button is held down?

No — the remote has no motor or speaker, so it stays at ambient temperature and is completely silent during panic-alarm activation.
