A pack of three spring-loaded speaker terminals with red and black binding posts for secure wire connections

  • 3 mm mounting hole fits standard panels
  • 6 inch square body suits tight enclosures
  • Red and black posts simplify polarity identification

Speaker terminal pack for custom builds

This set includes three spring-loaded binding posts designed for speaker cabinets and custom audio projects. Each unit accepts bare wire or pin connectors through a push-type mechanism that locks the cable in place. The two-position terminals suit stereo or bi-wire configurations without soldering.

Three posts with 3.3 mm mounting holes

Each terminal measures 1.6 inches square and fits a 0.13 inch mounting hole for panel installation. The plastic and metal construction weighs 25 grams per pack, keeping the addition light for portable enclosures. Spring pressure holds wire firmly but releases easily when the button is pressed again.

Replaces screw terminals or bare wire ties

The push-type design speeds up wiring compared to traditional binding posts that require tightening by hand. It is not suited for high-current amplifier outputs that demand heavy-gauge lugs or locking banana plugs. Builders needing more than three connection points will require additional packs.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.3 mm mounting holes line up with the cut-outs on my existing speaker cabinet?

Each terminal has a 3.3 mm mounting hole diameter so it fits the standard cut-outs used on many older speaker boxes.

How can I confirm the spring-loaded clips are gripping the wire properly after installation?

Push the stripped wire into the red or black terminal; the spring tension holds it firmly and a gentle tug will show it is secure.

Does the pack include mounting screws or speaker wire, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains only the three spring-clip terminals; screws and speaker cable must be purchased separately.
