Four AAA Battery Holders

This pack contains four black plastic cases that each hold three AAA cells in series. They are intended for hobbyists and technicians who need a compact, spring-loaded enclosure to power small devices. The holders are supplied without batteries.

Low-Current Spring Contacts

The spring-loaded contacts and thin internal wires limit the assembly to very small current loads. Connecting a load that draws more current will cause the wires to heat up; the supplier notes that use must stop if the wires become hot. The design is not suited for high-drain applications.

Replaces Taped or Loose Cell Stacks

These cases replace improvised holders such as tape, shrink tubing or bare spring contacts that can shift and short. The upgrade is worth it when a secure, polarity-marked enclosure is needed for lighting, remote controls, plush toys or similar low-power electronics.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.5 V power supply rating mean when the case is loaded?

Three AAA cells in series deliver 4.5 V nominal, which is the voltage your device will see when the holder is fully populated.

What current level is the internal wiring rated for?

The supplier notes the wires are thin and the structure is only fit for very small current loads; do not connect loads that cause large current and stop use if the wires become hot.

How many individual holders are included and what cell size do they accept?

The pack contains four black round cases, each designed to hold three 1.5 V AAA batteries.
