What it is and who it's for

A pack of five 9V battery clip connectors with a faux leather shell and colour-coded red and black leads. They suit hobbyists, technicians and anyone repairing or building projects that use standard 9V batteries. The connectors snap onto the battery terminals and provide a 12 cm flying lead for easy wiring. Battery not included.

Installation and common issues

Press the clip firmly onto the battery until it clicks; the polarised housing prevents reverse connection. The short 12 cm cable keeps the layout tidy but can limit placement in larger enclosures. Ensure the wire insulation is intact before soldering or crimping to avoid short circuits. The faux leather cover adds grip but may loosen after repeated removal.

Capacity and headroom

Each connector is rated for the typical current draw of a 9V alkaline or lithium cell, handling low-power circuits such as sensors, audio pedals or test equipment. The 11 g net weight per pack adds negligible mass to portable builds. They are not designed for high-drain applications or parallel battery configurations that exceed standard 9V load limits.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 9V battery clip connectors are working correctly after connecting them?

Connect the black and red wires to a 9V battery and power the intended device; the faux leather shell should stay secure and the 12cm cable must carry current without interruption.

What comes in the package and is a 9V battery included?

The box contains five 9V battery clip connectors with faux leather shells, 2.5 x 2cm size, 12cm cable length and 11g net weight; the 9V battery itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which version of these connectors should I choose for my 9V battery?

Only the I-type clip with faux leather shell, black and red wires, 12cm cable and 2.5 x 2cm dimensions is offered, so select this single version for any standard 9V battery.
