Replacement casters for office chairs

These 50 mm polyurethane wheels replace worn or noisy plastic casters on standard office chairs. The 11 mm by 22 mm grip-ring stem fits many common five-star bases. Twin-wheel construction rolls smoothly across hard floors and low-pile carpet without marking surfaces.

Suitable for home and office seating upgrades

Ideal for users who want quieter movement and floor protection on existing chairs. Not intended for heavy-duty industrial seating, equipment dollies or any application that exceeds the 25 kg per wheel rating. Buyers needing larger diameters, threaded stems or brake mechanisms should look at other models.

11 mm stem diameter with 22 mm length

This single dimension determines whether the casters will seat securely in your chair base. Measure the existing stem before ordering; an incorrect diameter or length will prevent installation. The 50 mm wheel diameter and 360-degree swivel are fixed by the design.

Questions about this item

How much weight can one 50 mm wheel carry once it is on my chair?

Each wheel is rated for 25 kg or 55 lb, so the load limit applies per caster, not to the set as a whole.

What does the 11 mm by 22 mm stem mount mean for fitting these to my chair base?

The stem is 11 mm in diameter and 22 mm long; it fits sockets that accept that exact stem size and will not work with larger or smaller openings.

How much clearance do I need under the chair for the 50 mm wheels to swivel freely?

The wheels are 50 mm in diameter and rotate 360 degrees, so allow at least that radius plus a few millimetres for the stem housing to clear the base.
