Installation notes

The ABS case includes screw fixing holes for secure mounting, and the open design makes it easy to solder or connect wires. Batteries and mounting screws are not supplied, so you must provide both before use.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the holder is delivering 6 V after inserting four AA cells?

Insert four 1.5 V AA batteries, then measure the output wires with a multimeter set to DC volts; a reading near 6 V shows the circuit is complete.

What comes in the package and what must I supply myself?

The box contains one black ABS battery holder with screw-mounting holes and attached wires; you must provide four AA batteries and mounting screws separately.

Which battery type should I choose for this 6 V holder?

Use four standard 1.5 V AA cells — alkaline, NiMH or lithium — to obtain the rated 6 V output.
