75 mm Black Heat-Shrink Tubing for 18650 Cells

This 2.1 metre length of PVC heat-shrink tubing is sized to cover 18650 battery packs. It shrinks at 98 °C with a 48 % shrink ratio, providing a tight insulating sleeve for DIY battery builders and repair technicians.

Flat 75 mm Width Shrinks to a Snug Fit

Supplied flat at 75 mm wide and 0.2 mm thick, the tubing reduces to roughly half its width when heated with a hot-air gun. The flame-retardant PVC resists moisture, corrosion and dust, so the finished wrap protects cells in daily handling and storage.

300 V Rated Insulation for Low-Voltage Packs

The material carries a 300 V voltage rating, making it suitable for typical 18650 lithium-ion assemblies. Batteries and heating tool are not included, so buyers must supply their own cells and a hot-air gun to complete the installation.

Questions about this item

What voltage does the 300 V rated heat-shrink tube safely insulate?

The tubing is rated for 300 V, so it provides reliable insulation on circuits up to that voltage.

What flat width and length do I need to cover an 18650 battery pack?

The roll measures 75 mm flat width by 2.1 m length, sized to wrap standard 18650 cells.

How do I shrink the tube with a hot-air gun without melting it?

Apply heat evenly at about 98 °C until the tube shrinks to 48 % of its original diameter; overheating can damage the PVC.
