  • Product typeCable Connectors

  • Pack of 10 grey filters for multiple cable runs

Signal integrity for cables

These clip-on ferrite cores suppress high-frequency noise on power cords, audio leads, AV cables, data lines and USB cables. The grey rings improve electromagnetic conditions around the wire without distorting the transmitted signal. Each core fits cord diameters from 7.0 mm to 9.0 mm and measures 19 mm by 35 mm. The pack contains ten pieces.

Installers and DIY users

The snap-on design suits anyone who needs quick EMI reduction on existing cables without cutting or soldering. Buyers who require shielded connectors, inline filters with specific impedance ratings, or solutions for cables thinner than 7.0 mm or thicker than 9.0 mm should look at something else.

7.0 mm to 9.0 mm cord fit

The single specification that decides compatibility is the allowed cable diameter range of 7.0 mm to 9.0 mm. Measure the outer diameter of each cord before ordering; cables outside this range will not seat correctly in the clip.

Questions about this item

Does the 9mm ferrite core generate any heat or noise when clipped on a power cord running all day?

The clip-on ferrite bead is a passive component with no moving parts, so it produces no audible noise and no measurable heat during continuous use.

What cable diameter must I already have for these 10 grey clips to fit securely?

Each connector accepts cords from 7.0 mm to 9.0 mm (0.28" to 0.35") in diameter, covering typical VGA, DVI, USB and power leads.

Will the 19 mm by 35 mm clip interfere with adjacent ports on an older desktop that has tightly spaced connectors?

The compact 19 x 35 mm housing adds minimal bulk, so it sits alongside legacy ports without blocking neighbouring sockets.
