What it is

This pack contains nine black battery holders each designed for two 1.5 V AA cells. The plastic case measures 58 x 32 x 15 mm and includes a 15 cm wire lead with a spring clip for quick insertion. The total weight is 64 g and batteries are not supplied.

Before ordering

Check that your device accepts two AA cells in series and that its current draw stays below 2 A. The supplier notes a maximum power limit of 5 W, so verify the load does not exceed this figure. Ensure the 15 cm lead length and 2.3 x 1.3 x 0.59 inch footprint fit the available space.

Under sustained load

The holder is rated for continuous operation at up to 5 W and 2 A. Monitor cell temperature during extended use and avoid low-quality batteries that may overheat. The spring contacts maintain connection but are not designed for high-vibration environments.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include AA batteries or must they be purchased separately?

The pack contains nine black plastic holders with 15 cm wire leads; AA batteries are not included and must be bought separately.

Each holder takes two AA cells — what voltage does that provide?

Two 1.5 V AA cells in series give a 3 V supply for low-power devices.

The spec says maximum power under 5 W and current under 2 A — what does that mean in practice?

It limits the holder to small loads such as LED lights or sensors; drawing more than 2 A or 5 W can overheat the spring contacts and wires.
