9V Battery Clip Connector

This T-type clip attaches to a standard 9V battery and supplies two pre-tinned leads for soldering. It is intended for hobbyists and repairers who need a quick, low-current power connection for small electronic projects. The pack contains two identical connectors.

Sustained Low-Current Use

The wires are thin and the manufacturer states the structure suits only very small current loads. Under continuous draw the leads will heat up, so the clip must be removed from any circuit that causes noticeable warmth. It is not designed for high-drain or prolonged power delivery.

15 cm Lead Length

Each connector provides a 15 cm red and black wire pair, stripped and tinned for immediate soldering. This fixed length determines whether the clip reaches the intended solder points without extension. Buyers who need longer or shorter leads should look for a different connector.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 cm leads get warm if I leave this clip connected all day?

The supplier notes the wires are thin and the structure fits only very small current loads; stop using the clip if the wires become hot.

What do I need to already have so the T-type buckle actually fits?

A standard 9 V battery measuring about 26 × 19 × 6 mm, because the clip’s buckle is sized for that footprint.

Can I use these clips with the older 9 V cells I already keep in my toolbox?

Yes, provided those cells match the 26 × 19 × 6 mm dimensions the T-type buckle is designed for.
