20mm Square Tube Insert Kit

This kit supplies four adjustable leveling feet designed for 20mm square tubing. The plastic base protects hardwood, ceramic tile, vinyl plank and linoleum floors from scratches and moisture damage. They suit office furniture, household items and industrial machines with threaded sockets. The inserts increase height and stability while reducing floor contact area.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The adjustable screw length allows fine tuning for uneven floors so the furniture remains stable over time. The plastic base prevents rust rings and resists wear from constant contact with hard surfaces. Frictional resistance stays low, making the equipped item easier to move when repositioning is needed. No noise is generated during prolonged use.

Installation and Common Issues

Each foot inserts into the square tube and the screw height is set by hand or with basic tools. The kit includes four complete sets for a typical four legged piece. A mismatch occurs if the tubing is not exactly 20mm square or if the product lacks threaded sockets. Buyers needing round tube inserts or larger square profiles cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

Does the plastic base on these 20 mm square inserts stay quiet and cool when the furniture sits all day?

The plastic base prevents noise during use and does not conduct heat, so the feet remain silent and at room temperature even after prolonged contact with the floor.

What tube size must my furniture legs already have for these inserts to fit?

Your furniture legs need an internal square opening of 20 mm so the tube inserts can slide in and the adjustable screws can engage.

Will these leveling feet work with older metal furniture that has threaded sockets instead of plain tubes?

Yes, the set is designed for office, household or industrial furniture with threaded sockets, so it threads directly into existing sockets on older pieces.
