Desk cable grommets, 60 mm fit

These five black plastic grommets fit a 60 mm hole diameter and cover it with a 71 mm outer flange that stands 17 mm high. A spring-loaded cover plate adjusts the opening to match cable thickness and closes over the wires for a tidy finish. The non-conductive plastic surface prevents cord abrasion during daily movement. Installation is a simple press-fit into a pre-drilled cut-out.

Suits office desks, home workstations

Buyers needing to route multiple cables through a standard 60 mm cut-out will find the adjustable cover useful for keeping bundles neat. Anyone whose furniture has a different hole size or who requires a metal or fire-rated grommet should look at alternatives that match those specifications.

60 mm hole diameter required

The single specification that decides fit is the 60 mm cut-out diameter in the desk or panel. If the existing hole is larger or smaller, the grommet will not seat correctly and the spring cover will not align with the surface.

Questions about this item

Will the plastic grommets need to be replaced after years of daily cable routing?

The plastic is non-conductive and lightweight; the smooth surface prevents cord tears so the grommets should not require scheduled replacement.

What limits how many thick cables can pass through the 60 mm hole at once?

The spring-loaded cover plate adjusts the opening size, so the practical limit is the cable bundle diameter that still allows the cover to close fully.

Does the 17 mm high flange get hot or make noise when cables run through it all day?

The grommet is passive plastic with no moving parts under load, so it produces no heat or noise during continuous use.
