SKU CH-YSG3-HP2RY

Holds two CR2032 cells with a 15 cm lead and on/off switch to supply 6 V output

  • Holds two CR2032 cells for 6V output
  • 15 cm wire leads per holder for flexible placement
  • Built-in ON/OFF switch with lockable cover
  • 30 g total weight for six lightweight holders
  • Batteries not included — insert your own cells

Battery holder with switch for 6V output

This pack contains six plastic holders each designed for two CR2032 cells wired in series to deliver 6V. A built-in ON/OFF switch lets you cut power without removing the batteries. The lockable case keeps the cells secure during handling. Batteries are not supplied.

Suits low-voltage prototypes

Hobbyists building sensor nodes, remote controls or test rigs that need a compact 6V source will find the switched holders convenient. Anyone needing a single-cell 3V supply or a higher-capacity pack should look at other configurations.

The 15cm lead length sets the placement range

Each holder ships with 15cm wires, so the maximum distance between the pack and the powered circuit is fixed at that length. If your layout demands longer or shorter leads you will need a different holder or an extension.

Questions about this item

How do I install the CR2032 batteries into the holder and what step is commonly missed?

Slide two CR2032 cells into the plastic housing matching the polarity marks, then close the lockable cover until it clicks; the step often missed is forgetting to flip the ON/OFF switch to ON after installation.

What maintenance or replacement will the CR2032 battery holder need over time?

The CR2032 cells inside will need replacement when the 6V output drops; the plastic housing, metal contacts, 15cm wires and switch are reusable, so only the coin cells require periodic changing.

What limit appears first when the holder is used continuously under load?

The 30g holder delivers 6V from two CR2032 cells; sustained current draw is limited by the coin cells' internal resistance, so voltage sag under load is the first constraint you will encounter.
