CR2032 Battery Socket Holder Pack

Suits DIY and repair work needing multiple CR2032

Hobbyists building small electronics projects or technicians replacing holders on existing boards will find the eight-piece quantity convenient. Buyers who need sockets for different cell sizes or who want a holder with an integrated battery should look elsewhere.

CR2032-only compatibility

The holder is made to accept a CR2032 cell and nothing else; the physical dimensions and contact layout match that specific format. Verify that your design calls for this exact cell type before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the brown plastic housing stay cool when a CR2032 cell powers a circuit all day?

The holder is passive plastic and metal contacts, so it generates no heat of its own; any warmth comes from the cell or the circuit it feeds.

What must I already have to use these 24 x 15 mm sockets?

You need eight CR2032 coin cells, a PCB or perfboard with matching 0.9 x 0.5 inch footprint, and basic soldering tools to mount the through-hole pins.

Will the 10 g holders fit alongside legacy through-hole components on an older board?

Yes, their 24 mm length and standard pin spacing sit comfortably beside traditional axial and radial parts on existing layouts.
